4 scribers held for extort money from Vendors

Amaravati, Oct 2, 2022 (DNS Online) : The Bommur police ( Rajamhandravaram ) have arrested some people related to a YouTube channel and another popular satellite channel who demanded Rs 5 lakh by threatening several traders selling banned gutka and unauthorized ammunition.

R.K. Naidu alias Yalla Ramakrishna ABC News, Cherukuri Srinivas Anil Kumar, C6 News Channel and Shreyas Media, Chandrasekhar, Raj News, Hotspot U website channel, and Mohan (vehicle driver) were under police custody.
All of them are involved in extortion, as per the complaint given by the victim Paidimarri Amrita Varalakshmi Crime No: 533/  2022U/S 419,384 r/w 34 IPC registered a case, arrested all of them, seized the car and four mobile

phones they were using for the crimes and sent them to a reminder.  Rayudu Vijay Kumar said.

He said that he has come to know that they are threatening they are from Delhi Police. He said we  are continuing the investigation. 

Bommur CI Vijay Kumar has warned that strict action will be taken against whoever commits blackmailing by claiming to be journalists, he stressed. Meanwhile, it is known recently Konaseema District of  Ravulapalem police also arrested four journalists. 

The arrests of such fakes are causing concern every day. Journalists who believed in their original profession as the ultimate in the respectable profession are being deeply tarnished.
