*Amravati, August 11, 2021 (DNS): Anaparty MLA Dr S Suryanarayanareddy frays over opposition party leaders for making false statements over Nandi idol stealing issue in Bikkavolu temple. After inspecting the temple he confirmed that severe action be taken against the stealing of Nandi idol issue. He asked the opposition party to behave gentle atleast in devotional aspects. Meanwhile a Nandi idol at the Sri Golingeswara temple in Bikavolu village, in his constituency in East Godavari was stolen few days back. The MLA reached the temple and tried to find out the background of the incident. On the occasion, he said that the perpetrators of the misconduct would be arrested by the police soon and the district SP was contacted as soon as he came to know

about the matter. 

Responding to this, the SP said that a special team has been appointed from the Criminal Investigation Department. Police have cracked a case of gold jewelery being stolen from the temple seven years ago and are recovering jewelery. Similarly, the Nandi statue will soon be seized by the police. MLA Suryanarayana Reddy has strongly condemned the allegations leveled against Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy by local Telugu Desam leaders attributing the theft to the state government.
