*Amaravati, Sept 1, 2021 (DNS Online) : About Rs. 10 lakh money collected through property taxes stored in lockers found missing at treasury of Municipal Coporation in Rajamahendravaram of East Godavari district. According the official sources, the tax collected from public on Friday, Saturday were stored in lockers at safety room in Municipal Office. The crew found the lockers missing on Tuesday morning, immediately after they opened the office. Its a shock to the officials and public too. As Sunday and Monday being holidays, the tax money could not deposited in bank. 

This incident has become a sensation in the State. The RMC Commissioner complained to city SP reagarding the

same.  

The dog squade visited the spot and police initiating the investigation.  The lost money was collected from public through modes of activities including property tax, sanitation fee, etc. Even CCTVs were not in use, during the incident, However, the real facts will be revealed after the police investigation.Rajamhandravaram 3 town police are investigating in this issue.
