* Visakhapatnam, September 27, 2021 (DNS): * Popular singer Deepali Didi Veedhi from Rajkot is reciting the Bhagavata story at the Sri Gujarati Samaj in the city of Visakhapatnam, said Hemchandra Chakshi, president of the organization. Bhagavatam will be recited at the Rajasthani Sanskriti Mandali in Maharani Peta from September 26 to October 2. The procession started at the Srikrishna Mandir near the Zilla Parishad on Sunday and proceeded to the Rajasthan Cultural Council. Devotees who recite the Shobha Yatra place the Bhagavata scripture on their head and participate in the Yatra.

After the Pothi Yatra, Ganapati Puja will be performed and

then Acharya Deepali recitation will start. The second day is recitation and the third day is Holi festival with flowers. Vamana, Srirama, Srikrishna's birth on the 29th, Giri Raju festival on the 30th, Srikrishna and Rukmini's marriage on the 1st, and Pari Samapti on the second, the last day, he explained. The recitation will be daily from three o'clock in the afternoon to six o'clock in the evening. He said that the distribution of prasadam will take place afterwards.
After the recitation of Srimad Bhagavatam, the program will conclude on the third day of next month with a peace puja at the premises of the building organized by the Sri Gujarati Samaj in Yandada. He said that Marwaris and Gujaratis recite the story of Srimad Bhagavatam to the ancestral deities with great devotion.
