Amaravati, Nov 8, 2021 (DNS Online) : The Karnataka Milk Federation shocked the AP Government. It has previously entered into an agreement with the Karnataka Milk Federation to supply milk to Anganwadi Centers in AP.  However, the Karnataka Milk Federation has taken a sensational decision as the AP government has so far not paid the arrears. The AP government has made it clear that it will not be able to supply milk to the Anganwadi Centers in AP unless it pays the arrears of Rs 130 crore immediately. 

 The Andhra Pradesh has entered into an agreement with the Karnataka Milk Federation in 2020 to supply milk to Anganwadis in AP.  Accordingly, the AP government is importing 110 lakh liters of milk

from the Karnataka government every month.  However, the arrears totaled Rs 130 crore after four months of non-payment.  In this context, the Karnataka Milk Federation has warned that the milk supply will be stopped.
