*Amaravati, Dec 8, 2021 ( DNS Online) :* Bipin Rawan, Chief of Defense Staff has passed away in in an Army helicopter crash in the Nilgiri hills in Coonoor, Tamil Nadu.  This was confirmed by the Army.  Along with Bipin Rawat, his wife Madhulika also passed away.  A total of 14 people were officially announced dead in the crash.

At least 13 people have been killed in an Army helicopter crash at Koonur in Tamil Nadu. A total of 14 people were on board the helicopter and 13 were killed. Among them is Madhulika, wife of Bipin Rawat. Authorities found her body. The rest of the bodies will be identified by a DNA test. The only Rawat is survivor is believed to this crash.
