*Amaravati, May 25, 2023 ( DNS Online )* : The Andhra Pradesh State Police Complaints Authority has been set up by the state Government to take complaints against the police in the state, said today a police Officel here in Rajamahendravaram of East Godavari district.

The Government of Andhra Pradesh has appointed three retired IAS and IPS officers as members of the AP Police Complaints Authority. Ms. Uday Lakshmi (Rtd IAS ), KVB Gopalarao and Battina Srinivas (both Rtd IPS ) as members of this authority.
For justice, if the victim who complains to the police station They does not get prompt justice or it is too late, if he returns the complaint to Thas new police authority office , this authority can take immediate action against the police

and do justice
Regarding this new Autharity.

They register and investigate complaints against the police.
Committees have been formed as the center of Visakhapatnam, Krishna, West Godavari and East Godavari districts for North Andhra districts, Rajahmundry, Guntur, Prakasam, Nellore districts for Guntur and Rayalaseema districts.
The state government has decided to appoint three retired DSP and additional SP level officers in each centre.
